Femme Rochas Perfume by Rochas, A classic fragrance first launched in 1944, Femme Rochas perfume was conceived in the middle of World War Ii by famous perfumer Edmond Roudnitska. Femme Rochas can be considered an opulent chypre scent fit for a femme fatale. Plum, apricot and other fruity top notes dominate the opening, giving way to a floral heart of carnation, rose and iris. The true richness of this fragrance likely lies in the harmony between the warm top layers and the dry, woody oakmossbase notes. This long-lasting scent is at its best during evening occasions.
Rochas began in 1925 as a French fashion company. In 1934, it launched its first fragrances with Femme becoming the best seller. Company founder Marcel Rochas ended the clothing line in 1953 and passed away in 1955, turning over the reins to his wife, Helene. Through many changes and an eventual merger with Proctor and Gamble, the company remains a strong player in the fragrance market with many well-known scents to its name. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.
